Chappie Trailer - Crappie Trailer

Wow...what happened here.  Compared the the Teaser that came out a few months before it, this trailer is generic, void of emotion and soul and has me feeling a big who cares.  Who cares for the character.  Who cares for the Chappie.  Who cares for the movie.

The music sounds like Needle Drop for….Promo.  And it’s so flat.  There’s no progression.  Some level of intensity.  Boring.

The structure and story is so linear.  A to B to C.  No twist or turns.  No real questions to ask.

After watching the trailer, I have absolutely no interest in watching.

This is how not to do a trailer.
